One of the most popular residential real estate brokers in the Vail Valley—known both for his personal style and his extensive knowledge of the area—Doug’s connection to Vail dates back to 1975 when he became a ski instructor for Vail Resorts.

A real estate broker for nearly 20 years, Doug now serves as the Managing Branch Broker for the Eagle Ranch office of Slifer Smith & Frampton, where he was awarded “Top Producer” status for six out of the last seven years. Doug has extensive experience working with buyers and sellers in Vial Village, Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch, Cordillera and Arrowhead among other Vail Valley areas. A former Director for the Vail Board of Realtors, Doug is also an active member of both the Rocky Mountain Resort Alliance and the Vail Valley Homebuilders Association. He serves on a committee for “Fly Summer Vail” and is involved in various local business community activities.

Married with two beautiful girls, Doug is a resident of Eagle Ranch where he is a dedicated soccer and softball dad, and coaches youth hockey. Doug remains an avid skier (and taught skiing either full or part time for 22 seasons). He also enjoys cycling and golf for his outdoor activities, and on introducing new residents to the fabulous recreational activities and wonderful lifestyle opportunities in the Vail Valley.
